Prepare students to bridge the gap between Arab & Western culture
As Preparation Manager, you are creating the Preparation Program of the Nour Project. The Preparation Manager has a lot of freedom in the way the Preparation Program is organised, since you are the only person in the Netherlands who is responsible for this program.
In general, the Preparation Program consists of three pillars: cultural, professional and expectation setting. The cultural pillar consists of lectures about the Arab culture or actualities in the MENA-region. The professional pillar is linked to the Experience Project every Nour Participant has to create during their exchange, so this will involve workshops in creative writing, documentary making etc. Expectation setting will be done by former Nour Participants, who will tell the new participants about their own experience with the project.
With these three pillars, the Nour Participants should be prepared sufficiently for their exchange and have enough knowledge about the Arab culture after their preparation.
