The Nour project aims to bridge the gap between the Western and Arab culture. This is done by sending students from the Netherlands abroad to volunteer in the Middle-East Northern Africa (MENA) region for 6 to 8 weeks. These students are well prepared to bridge the cultural gap by means of preperation seminars. During their projects the students will do a side project, for example writing a blog or making a documentary. Finally, the students participate in a reintegration seminar to share their experiences and ultimate bridge the gap between the Western & Arab culture.
The Nour program is ran from Leiden, therefore all functions below (with the exception of Nour manager) are available in Leiden. Each city has one Nour manager, who is a member of the Outgoing Global Volunteer team.
